Description: The Scales of Justice are an enduring symbol of fairness and equality. As the most recognized icon of the legal profession, this painting was created to bring a classic image to a law firm while adding a touch of whimsy. The composition itself is balanced by the curvy scales in the foreground and the straight diamond patterned background. Likewise, as the large trays shimmer with gold leaf, the small Swarovski crystals found between each diamond make the whole painting sparkle. The masculine chains suspending the trays are counterbalanced with the delicate brooch and feminine fleur de lis crowning the scales.
